75th Anniversary
Open House

Saturday, April 18th

Join us for a celebration of 75 years of serving the community!  What originally started as a book exchange for members of the Bourbon Monday Club eventually grew into the Bourbon Public Library that serves the community today in a variety of ways. Staff and volunteers have been working hard to create a timeline to display milestones in the Library's history to show how we started and where we are headed.  Library Board and former Library Board members will provide refreshments and Evelyn's Piano Studio will play background music for guests.  This is a wonderful chance to see all that the Library has to offer the community.

There will be information available on how to donate to the Bourbon Public Library’s Permanent Endowment Fund, which was established through the Marshall County Community Foundation by the Bourbon Sesquicentennial Committee in 2010 to help support the Library.  Since then, the Library has been able to make several needed improvements thanks to the annual disbursement from the fund - materials for local high school volunteers to paint a mural in Children's hallway, a touchscreen computer for the Children's Area, new seating areas upstairs and downstairs, and new entry mats.  For more information visit on how to donate, please visit http://marshallcountycf.org/donations/ .
