This year we are proud to celebrate 75 years of serving the community! What originally started as a book exchange for members of the Bourbon Monday Club eventually grew into the Bourbon Public Library that serves the community today in a variety of ways. Staff and volunteers have worked hard to create a timeline to display milestones in the Library's history to show how we started and where we are headed. Come and see all that the Library has to offer the community!
If you would like information on how to donate to the Bourbon Public Library’s Permanent Endowment Fund, which was established through the Marshall County Community Foundation by the Bourbon Sesquicentennial Committee in 2010 to help support the Library, please visit http://marshallcountycf.org/donations/. Since then, the Library has been able to make several needed improvements thanks to the annual disbursement from the fund - materials for local high school volunteers to paint a mural in Children's hallway, a touchscreen computer for the Children's Area, new seating areas upstairs and downstairs, and new entry mats. Thank you for your support!
